The Armani Group announced that all Italian factories are currently being converted to create personal protective wear for medical workers. They will begin producing single-use overalls for healthcare staff to wear as they work to support coronavirus patients.
The fashion designer has already donated more than €2 million euro to Italy’s hospitals and was one of the first to cancel runway shows, even before the national lockdown.
“As a young man I wanted to be a doctor”, Armani said.
