Italy remains in a national lockdown through May 3rd, but Campania Governor Vincenzo De Luca has announced that Naples restaurants and bars can begin delivering food Wednesday.
De Luca is famous for his rants on this Italian mayor video and has kept the region under tight restrictions during the coronavirus response.
That means that Neapolitans have been without pizza for well over a month. Now pizzerie will be allowed to open to deliver pizza, so long as health standards have been upheld.
De Luca also announced that bookshop and stationery stores would be allowed to reopen in the region.
